ProSelect 2024 Upgrade Plan: What You Need to Know

Before you dive into ProSelect 2024, here are a few important things to keep in mind:

1. Keep Both Versions: Installing ProSelect 2024 will NOT replace your 2022r1 version. You can continue using 2022r1 for daily work while exploring the new features of ProSelect 2024. Both versions will run separately, and the new version will be easily identifiable with a "2024" icon.
   However, understand that once an album file is saved in version 2024, it cannot be opened in 2022 or earlier versions. All files created in 2022 or earlier can still be opened in 2024.
2. New and Improved: ProSelect 2024 introduces several changes and improvements. While it may feel different at first, the updates are designed to enhance your workflow. Expect a small learning curve, but trust us—it's worth the adjustment!
3. Help is Readily Available: We've added a range of new help resources to assist you with the transition. To access these, simply go to Help > Open Online Help Guide within the software. Training Videos are available here
4. Take Time to Review the Upgrade Options: Upon installation, you'll be presented with three setup options. Don't rush! There's a link to "Upgrade Info" that we strongly recommend you review before making your choice.
5. Our Recommendation: We suggest choosing the "Start from New" option. This installs fresh, optimized data for ProSelect 2024. Following this setup will help you better understand the software's new features and make the training materials and videos easier to follow.
6. Supplier Resources: We have a growing library of Supplier Resources available on the Industry Partners Download Page. New product collections are being added regularly, and they make setup much easier.
7. Take Advantage of ProSelect's Full Potential: While many users use ProSelect for basic slideshows or room layouts, the software offers so much more. With easier setup and product customization, you can boost your sales significantly. We encourage you to explore the full capabilities and see how ProSelect can help grow your business.
8. It's Okay to Start Over: If you've already imported old data and are feeling frustrated, don't worry—you can reset and "Start from New" at any time. If you Start from New now, you can reset again later after practicing, to bring in your old data.
9. Join the Community: For additional support, join the ProSelect User Group on Facebook. It's a great place to ask questions, share experiences, and get advice from other users. Just be sure to start a new thread for each of your questions to get the best responses.
