Photoshop Output Structure
In Photoshop, the Production Module initially creates output images with a layered structure. If a non-Photoshop file format (tiff or jpeg) is chosen in Production Setup, the image is flattened and saved in that format. For Photoshop file outputs, you can adjust layers before flattening.
Layer Descriptions:
- Stamp: Includes logos, copyright stamps, or watermarks.
- Borders Layers: Contains border parts from applied virtual styles.
- Vignette: Holds the vignette effect, adjustable for strength.
- Image: The uncropped, correctly sized image, which can be adjusted.
- Mask: Defines the cropping area for the image and vignette layers.
- Mat: Shows the mat color, black for single prints or chosen color for composites.
- Paperfill: Adjusted to the next print size, filled with a selected color if set.
For Composite Products, each image has separate mask, image, vignette, and border layers.
Grouping Mats Layers: To simplify editing, mats' borders are added as separate layers. If a product has multiple openings and you plan to add effects to borders, use the "Combine Mat Edge Layers for all Openings" option in Settings. This groups the same borders into one layer, facilitating uniform effects application across all openings. Note that this option is not suitable for products with overlapping openings as it may not correctly hide some border parts.
