Right-Click Options
ProSelect has many right-click options available. It is a convenient and efficient way to customize images and products. Depending on what you click on, right-clicking provides quick access to various functions and actions related to the selected item.
Working with Images, Show view is unique, in that you have two options for right-clicking. This option can be set by going to the top menu, ProSelectEdit > Settings > General Settings > General > Mouse Options. Whichever option you choose to use, holding down the optionalt key while right-clicking, will access the other method.
- Zoom In: Right-clicking on an image will zoom the image in by one zoom level each time you click. See Zooming In for Detail to learn more.
- Popup Menu: Right-clicking on an image will open the Popup Menu. When this option is selected, right-clicking also gives you access to several "Zoom in" sizes.
- If you see a drop-down arrow beside the right-click function, this means there are additional options available. The additional options become visible when you click on the arrow or the function name.
You can access the following image effects and apply them to your original images or to images within a product:
- Original
- B&W
- Special Tint
- Low-Key Vignette
- High-Key Vignette
- Remove

If you are using an image effect on a Print, Gallery Wrap, or any other product that has a single opening, you do not need to select the opening first. For products with multiple openings, you will need to first select an opening, and then right-click on it to access image effects.
You can easily change the Presentation Option of a selected image or product using right-click. Click on the arrow or "Presentation Options" to reveal the list of all available Presentation Options. Only Presentation Options specific to that product type will appear.

Access the Perfectly Clear Pretouching tool by right-clicking on a selected image(s) and choosing "Pretouch" from the drop-down list.

Locked Crops are used to apply a non-standard aspect ratio crop to override the automatic fitting of an image to a paper size. For more information, click on Using Locked Crops.
When in Cropping view, you have the option of selecting the crop ratio when you right-click on the selected image(s). The crop ratios available are:
- 1:1 Ratio (Square)
- 1:1.25 Ratio (8x10)
- 1:1.33 Ratio (3x4)
- 1:1.4 Ratio (5x7)
- 1:1.5 Ratio (6x9)
- 1:2 Ratio
- 1:3 Ratio
Any crop that has been applied to the selected image will be removed.
If you are using this on a Print, Gallery Wrap, or any other product that has a single opening, you do not need to select the opening first. For products with multiple openings, you will need to first select an opening, then right-click on it to remove the crop.
This option will allow you to view the Image Information dialog.
This option will open a new FinderFile Explorer window with the selected image highlighted.
Select an image or images and click on the Create Print Product tool (or right-click on the image and select "Create Print Product"). You will be redirected to Working with Products, and the selected image(s) will now be added as a print product. When prints are created, they are sized according to your "Starting Product". To configure your Starting Product, go to the top menu, ProSelectEdit > Settings > Importing Images > Adding Images.
Selecting this action will remove the selected image(s) from the album.
This action removes the image from the album - it does not delete the image entirely. The image will remain in the images folder on your computer.
