Gallery Wraps
Gallery Wraps, also known as canvas wraps, are products in which the image wraps around the edges of the canvas. The thickness of the wrapped edges typically ranges from 0.5" to 3". Gallery Wraps are sized based on the face size, and the images can either bleed to cover the edges or utilize specific edges set in the Gallery Wrap Edges section. By default, Gallery Wraps are dynamically sized based on your Paper Sizes. Click on Gallery Wrap Components to learn more about Edge Depths and Edge Treatments.
To order a Gallery Wrap, the product must first be added to the Products and Pricing Manager. When viewing an image in Working with Products or Working with Rooms, you can convert the print to a Gallery Wrap using the options available on the Information Bar or by right-clicking on the image.
Gallery Wraps offer various Presentation Options. For instance, you could choose between an Economy Canvas or a Premium Canvas with Laminate.
Gallery Wrap Edges
- The default edge when creating a Gallery Wrap is a "Full Wrap."
Advanced Gallery Wraps offer expanded design options, including the ability to use multiple images, overlays, image tilts, and the full functionality of the Product Editor.
These wraps can be created in different sizing modes:
- Fixed Size: The template is designed to be specific to a particular size, and only that size will be available for ordering.
- Dynamic: The template is scaled to maintain the aspect ratio of the images, allowing for flexibility in sizing.
- Stacked: Multiple templates can be stacked together, allowing for varied sizes of non-matching aspect ratios to be shown.
With Advanced Gallery Wraps, you have greater control and creative freedom to design customized and unique wrap products including Float Wraps, and Thin Wraps offered by labs. When setting up wrap values, check the specifications set by your production lab to determine the correct wrap amount. The wrap area required is usually larger than the actual wrap width of the product. For a 1.5” wrap, most labs require 2” of wrap area.

When setting up wrap values, check the specifications provided by your lab to determine the correct wrap amount. The wrap area has two factors. 1) Edge Depth and 2) Bleed. There are differences from lab to lab, so be sure to verify the information or use our supplier collection imports if available.
