About Send My Rooms
SendMyRooms™ is a Client Connection system for professional photographers. It is a separate branded website that makes it easy for your clients to take images of their walls and send them to you ready to be used as background rooms in your ProSelect sales session. The service is free for all ProSelect users with a current subscription.
SendMyRooms™ is designed to make it easy for you to get your clients involved (and committed) to their photography session by providing them with an easy way to take photos of their rooms and instantly send them to you through its mobile-friendly website. SendMyRooms™ has many features:
- Send an invitation email from within ProSelect or through your ProStudioSoftware.com My Account area.
- Standard email templates are pre-setup for you to use or customize for your studio. By default, these include a simple password-protected link which will log them directly into the website.
- Clients can watch a short movie on how to use the camera in their phone or tablet to take and upload photos of their rooms.
- Once uploaded, you can preview and download images directly into the client’s ProSelect Album file, ready to be calibrated and used in their viewing/sales session.
- All downloaded images can be cropped or tilt adjusted in this window if necessary.
- Downloaded images are saved inside the album file.
Clients can log in, take photos and upload them.
- Clients will normally enter this area directly by clicking on the link in their invitation email. OR
- Access the site by entering an ID Code and Password into the login page on SendMyRooms.com.
- The ID code is eight characters and letters long (eg “ABCD-W123”) and is automatically generated by the system for each client when you setup a new viewing invitation.
- The Password is one which you select and is the same for all of your clients. By default, the last four digits of your contact phone number are used for this.
Once the Client has logged in, they will be directed to the Welcome Page. Clients can watch a shot video on using SendMyRooms™, and then Get Started uploading room images. On the home screen, Clients have the ability to add rooms, and edit and remove rooms. Once uploaded, the Client can select a name for the room from the drop-down menu, or they can create their own custom room name.
The best way to find out how the Client Area works is to send yourself an invitation and then use the site as if you are a client. You can upload some images and download them into ProSelect.
Once you have linked your ProStudio Software account to SendMyRooms™, you can enter the management area two different ways.
- Your ProStudioSoftware.com My Account area (under the My Extras tab).
- In ProSelect, navigate to Orders > SendMyRooms > Management Area.
